Philips CDRW 800 Series - driver problem

I upgraded to Windows 2000, and I get 2, sometimes 3 processor reset during the computer power-up. I found that the pci.sys driver is failing, and figured that it is probably the Philips CDRW 800 Series that is causing the problem. So, any help in this matter would be appreciated, like a new driver?
