I recently reformated and re-installed windows 98 on a computer for my 6 year old to play windows 98 games on.I have an PCI Standard Graphics card from what I can gather reading my Hardware Device Manager. I only get 2 and 16 colors. Shouldn't there be more? are there drivers on the windows 98 SE that i need to load as well?? where can i get the updated drivers? this computer has no internet connection, strictly for games for 6 year old... I will need to find drivers and copy to a floppy and load them on that computer from the one I use. I do not know where to look for them on the disk if so. can anyone help me? efu2d

'PCI Standard Graphics' is the basic VGA driver used when Windows can't find the correct one - otherwise meaningless.
There are various ways to determine this machine's graphics adapter:
Simplest (and most suggested) - download and run Everest - once the display adapter is ID'd you would search for the driver appropriate to your version of Windows, download & install
If your computer is a name brand, with integrated or stock conmponents, another method might be to check the manufacturer's website for downloads for that make & model
We've heard that a million monkeys at a million keyboards could produce the complete works of Shakespeare; now, thanks to the Internet, we know that is not true
