I have just an onboard sound card on a very old computer. The exact type of sound card is unknown to me cause it is encased and i can;t get the case off. It just says it is missing the PCI multimedia Device Driver. If anybody can offer me some help i would appreciate it much. thanks

I would probably first check with your motherboard manufactuerer for drivers for the soundcard, they should have some on their site or point you in the right direction. If this doesnt work, I know you can disable the on-board soundcard and buy a cheap SB card or something and throw it in there. Hope this helps.
