I need a driver for PCI simple communications Controller. Running XP on Sony Vaio laptop and modem is not recognised. I think this might be the problem?? Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

i have both win98 second edition & winxp os in my pc.Everytime when i restart my computer it detect a hardware know as pci communication device.But i m unable to load the appropriate drive for it.plss suggest me wat is pci communication device.plss suggest so dat i kan get rid of dis problem

Reply: (edit)I have the same problem with a DLink Wifi Card. Got a driver problem with the PCI simple communications Controll. When installing the driver of the DLink Wifi card i get an error "WLangen.bin", can't copy the file.
anyone any ideas? Much appreciated.
