Okay guys, I've been here a few times and gotten exactly the answers needed. My high expectations are only hoping this will be the last bout with my brand new computer I built is needed. My PCI slots are useless! My Firewire card is plug and play, tried it in a different comp, worked fine. But it makes a "?" on my device manager. But I know the problem. There are two other PCI "?" on the device manager, and I only have the firwire on the board! They are labeled: "PCI Memory Controller" and "SM Bus Controller" and then of course the third item I'm going to guess is my firewire card: "Other PCI Bridge Device". So I think click on update drivers, I get nothing on all 3, so I hit reinstall drivers, get nothing. Then I find out there are no drivers (duh) there to begin will. So I know I have to do this the old way, and I don't feel like sifting through Google and went striaght to the source I trust, this site. Is there something on the disc that came with my mobo that could solve this, or is this a "find it on the web" deal? Please help me, I need to plug in my video camera via firewire ASAP and this is killing me.

UPDATE

Yes, I installed them shortly after posting this, before you commented. HOWEVER, now that there are no "?"'s in my hardware list, if I plug something into the firewire card, I get nothing, and I can't seem to find it being recongized on my computer. As well as my audio card, my computer will now turn on if I plug my audio card in, but when I go to install the drivers, it says there is no audio card plugged in. There are 2 possibilites I see here: 1, my PCI slots are FUBAR for some reason, or 2, I don't have my cards plugged in all the way, which is a remote possiblity. I'm very paranoid and careful about forcing cards in, but my friend has no problem with it. Any ideas?
