Specs: windows98, Intel pentium2

I currently have a PCI Communication device on my computer and it states the drivers for this device are not installed (code 28) and when I try to reinstall the driver windows cant find the appropriate driver and doesnt recognise it. This causing my screen to be fuzzy and it appears like its in safe mode (though it isnt) all the time. How do I solve this problem. Thanks in Advance.

PCI Communication device is normally a modem
or maybe network card.

I doubt this is the cause of your display
problem, have you tried changing the colours &
screen resolution in display properties?

What does device manager say about your display

I recently aquired 4 machines with PCI GRAPHIC CARDS, all PII machines. Go to device manager (right click on my computer, go down to properties), and click on the + sign next to display adaptor. It will expand to show your adaptor, high light it and click on the properties button. click on the drivers tab and post back what it says.

It says "to view details about the driver files loaded for this device, Click Driver File Details. To update the driver files for this device, Click Update Driver."

above that paragraph, next to the icon of a monitor it should have the name of the driver then the provider, then the date. Thats what we need to know
