Comment: Hi everyone, I recently bought an acer t180, Here is the info: http://tinyurl.com/yswwwr Anyway, it came with windows vista pre installed. I decided that this computer isn't ready for vista yet, so I found my laptops' operating system installation cd, and just wiped out the c partition and installed windows xp on it. Now that I did that, my computer won't recognize my video card, my audio doesnt work, and I suspect the mobo isnt detected as well? In device manager my video card shows up as Video controller ( VGA compatible) and has a question mark next to it. I suspect its all about the drivers, I tried right clicking on it in device manager and looking for driver updates there, but nothing came up, I also tried installing and uninstalling with no results. So I went to acer website, there seems to be 2 different versions(http://tinyurl.com/drxf5, http://tinyurl.com/2vjp65) to download the drivers for my model, but they either dont download, or download really slow. If anybody would be so kind as to maybe direct me to the right files? Thanks.
