im using partition magic 6.0 while merging two partitions my comp. freeze.i had to restart it.then some of my folders lost.there is only files like File0011.chk,File0012.chk... is there a way to restore my lost files?

It's not that easy now to say if restauration of data still possible (if it's possible). What I want to say for the future is : PMagic is a DOS program. When used in Windows environement it can produce even more damages than you already encountered. Please take a look at this page.
