Subject: Oleacc.dll and program MemTurbo 2.2OS: Win 95CPU/Ram: Pentium 200MMX/128MB |
Comment: Hello, I am user of the program MemTurbo, shareware created by www.memturbo.com to speed up the memory ram of a computer especially in OS Windows 95 which is really slow comparing to actuals windows versions. When I downloaded the ultimate version of MemTurbo 2.2, the progam refuses to work because of a missing file called "Oleacc.dll", I made a research of the missing file in the net, I found it, I added it to the folder of MemTurbo program, now the system detects a fatal error saying this file refuse to match with the program ????? Does anybody has any idea of the problem ? Information requested through MemTurbo technical suport staff was negative, they are unable to explain the problem.... Thanks for help....

Reply: (edit)Thought I'd try to help you out. My mom was having your exact same problem, and was having difficulty installing the oleacc.dll file from microsoft. So I did a Google search using the file name, and first came across your message. I scrolled down further to find this addy for ExtractNow-- www.nmoin.brinkster.net/en/ There I downloaded the microsoft active accessory file to the desktop, double clicked it there, and it installed without a hitch. We then installed MemTurbo without a problem. We were tickled to have that problem solved, so I thought I'd pass along our success to you. Good luck.

Reply: (edit)Thanks for your answer Teresa !!! I never found any solution about that misfunction of the program MemTurbo... I just decided to transfer all my data to another computer configurated now with windows 98 for instant, and of course it's working !!! Conclusion: Windows 95 is now too much updated to be able to match programs created recently.....
