I have a cd-rom made by sanyo the modle # is CDR H93 RSA and I went to the sanyo home page and also look in found drivers could not find one if you know a place where I can get this drive please let me know THANKS

I want a bootdisk driver it only has dos in it now and a win95&98 or any other boot disk I have want install the cd-rom

Have you been to www.bootdisk.com? I know the micron windows 98 bootdisk has support for SCSI drives.

yes and I've try those and they just donot work the cdrom is just too old it has a much bigger cable than the newer one but I will keep trying I'm a little hard headed and want give up at lease no time soon THANKS for the help dave

Do you know what type of card the cdrom is connected to? Is it just a generic SCSI card. SCSI are going to have at least 50 pins. IDE has 40 pins.

it has 50 pins and I have it set to slave to
the hardrive.also the bios do have it in
there,just can't find the right driver THANKS

So your harddrive is SCSI then? How did you set it to slave? This is a feature of IDE devices.

it was preset to slave'one more thing it did not come with the pc I put it in and when I first booted up it found the cd-rom and put it in the bios itself,it just donot have the drivers

Dave I install win 95 upgrade from floppys and it put the cd-rom in and its up and running in windows. it say it a sanyo-cdr-4001 so I guest I need to find this one so I can put it on a boot disk.once again THANKS for your help you'll a good person ZVT

I don't see a bootdisk for that specific cdrom. Have you tried the SCSI driver here:

I have a Mats---a CR 581 but have lost the boot disk drivers. If possible I'd like to find somewhere where I could download the complete bootdisk. PLEASE EMAIL YOUR REPLIES TO ME
