I have set up my system to multi-boot Win98FE and DOS as well as WinXP (so I can play older games). But I cannot get any sound on Win98 there is not even Volume Control. WinXP works fine so there is no hardware problem. The sound card is "nVidia nForce Audio Codec Interface". The nVidia site is no good it does not deal with any OS before Win98SE. I can't find anything at DriverGuide either. Surely there must be a way to get some sound I am not bothered about audio excellence I just want simple sounds. Any help greatly appreciated.

The nforce drivers install program is extractable using winzip, i think. If that works, extract all the files then you may be able to use device manager and install the sound drivers that way.
