Where are you trying to download them from? the Internet? a CD?

or do you mean you're trying to INSTALL the drivers?

Possibly a file association got changed. Did you install any software recently? possibly Quicktime? What type file are you trying to run? *.EXE? *.ZIP?

Its an .exe file from the Nvidia website, still dont know what the problem is, but ive discovered that i can use the save target command to download it. I checked the file associations for quicktime (which has been installed for a good few months already) and there seems to be nothing wrong there.
