Having problems with Half-life's Day of Defeat mod. Tried allsorts, but found this today:

"The NVidia drivers that come with XP do not allow you to run Half Life in OpenGL. Update to the newest drivers.
Despite the fact that they are not official drivers, 22.50 was the only set which worked"

(from http://www.tweakxp.com/tweak214.aspx)

My question is: I have the HP Pavilion 522n stock machine (the game used to run fine on this). Are the NVIDIA 22.50 drivers appropriate for this machine with onboard graphics? I seem to have NVIDIA drivers installed as a default with XP - will these update ok? And can someone tell me the safest way to do it?

Thanks

My entire system specs are available online at:

(Like I said, I have a stock machine)
