hey everybody,
i just installed new drivers for my 6600gt and the screen has gone haywire, the desktop is just a fuzz and most typed words look like they've been scribbled out or something. the driver is the 6.14.0010.7184 from the nvidia site. any suggestions on a better driver i could go with? a link to it would be handy too as i couldn't find a way to get to any other drivers on the site.
just for the record, i was using the driver i got from the cd with the card itself which worked fine for about a month and just today i started getting big thick black lines through any games and it would move around and the screen would flicker a bit, so that's why i replaced the drivers. good switch.....
thanks everyone.

hmm, thanks daisymay, it would seem that the latest drivers are, quite simply, not driving the card properly.
