It is included in the Graphics Driver, obviously the Graphic Chip Manufacturer must provide OpenGL support in the driver.

Maybe you need an updated driver or maybe you need to buy a graphics card !!!

We are all fully aware that we dont have "real" graphics cards, but does that mean that no openGL 1.4.0 driver actually exists? If it does exists, please stop telling us what we already know about our hardware and point us in the direction of a suitable driver.

Dudes- the display drivers are for the graphics card. One of ya said you had a Intel card. I have two- both computers have a 82845GL chipset.
Try this-http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-008649.htm
Whoever manufactures your card should have help for this kind of stuff

In addition to my previous comment I would like to remind the whole world that as plainandsimple said the graphics driver for your card contains OpenGL support. Intel's older cards only support 1.3.0 OpenGL drivers, though by changing a processing thing on the page mentioned in my last post KOTOR will work. Mine does.
