I went to Multimedia-Properties-Devices and both the video and audio Codec trees have red symbols next to them.

My OS was win98 and Now I remove that os and install win98 and winxp2002, But Now there are no any sound device, Iam trying to install that device through mother board's CD but not success. Can anyone help me get my sound back in all multimedia?

I reformatted the hard drive and now there is no sound and dont have the driver for the sound card at the boot up it say no audio pci found can anyone help me I dont know what type of card I have how can I find this out?
