no .exe for ethernet driver

hi, i downloaed an ethernet diver for a system and there's no .exe file to run for instal. There's a .cat file, .sys files and an .inf file.

Ive tried going to device manager>ethernet controller>properties>update driver but it doesnt recognise it. I dont know what to do. It's an MSI neo 2 board, drivers from msi.com website.

Help appreciated, thanks.

XP will look for a .INF file when updating driver via the update driver wizard, but only the correct version for your hardware

You have to point to the .inf file you extracted
