What is your intergrated sound called ? For instance on my PC ,I have Stigma-Tel 7.1 channel intergrated sound ! My previous PC had AC97 intergrated sound a very widly used intergrated sound ,however I was constantly having problems with that intergrated sound to the point that I purchased a PCI sound card a Sonic Impact S90 sound card, installation was a breeze ,sound cards are very affordable ,at that time you could get much better sound thru a sound card and they often come bundled with extra's ,however the newer intergrated audio/sound has improved ,so depending on what integrated sound you have and what your problem is troubleshooting it may be worth the trouble ,or just purchasing a sound card might be the way to go ? Good Luck Nick
