My friend gave me Nero 5.5.5.1 bundled(only an application file). after installed when i brought it up, it said: "sorry this nero version can only be used with the recorder it has been bundled with". And i found my burner (mats---a cd-rw cw7586)still use Microsoft's driver. my window is XP.
any one can help me?

That version of Nero will only work with the cdrom it came with. Example would be it you bought a yamaha it will only work on a yamaha burner.
