Need driver for Network Card

I need a network card driver for a Compaq 10_100 MiniPCI Ethernet NIC that came with my Compaq Presario Notebook. I don't know why my computer doesn't have the driver??? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!!!

Thanks, I tried that but it didn't work. I'm just confused as to why my computer wouldn't have this driver on it?!?!?

You should be able to get information on it at the Compaq/HP web site. It should either be in the install CD or driver service pack for your machine or as a standalone update. But you need to know the exact model (which you did not give) to find it.
There are also notes about problems with the NIC software not loading from the install CD. Check your software install CD, the drivers should be there somewhere.

Summary: I have a network card and I need a driver for it. In 'device manager' I see the card as "PCI network controller". I tried finding a driver on the win98 cd and... no luck. The manufacturer is "Maxxtro"...
