I a Liteon It CD burner that has never
worked with my Mac desktop beige G3. The CD
burner was supposed to be simply plug & play
with firewire. The connections are secure.
However, my computer does not acknowledge
the burner's presence. Knowing I probably
need a driver, I called LiteOn It and they
said that they don't have drivers for Macs
(though "in theory," the help tech said that
my burner IS Mac compatible. He said for me
to look for an Universal USB Driver to
download but I've found that to be like
looking for a needle in a haystack. Could
anyone direct me to a site and product i
could download that will make my CD burner
work? Thanks.
