After you format it gives that message. You now need to put in a Windows 95 or 98 disk.

Hello,

A friend of mine gave me this lap top (Lavie nr 15 PC9821), it is from Japan, it seems to be 5 or 6 years old. It's all in Japanese, so I have formatted it but it won't take windows 98. Is there an updated version of the BIOS available that I can purchase, or somehow get my hands on? I have also managed to get into it's current BIOS but it's all in Japanese, so I can't guess at much!
