Had a glitch with O/S so re-installed. Lost the scanner and all attempts to re-instal it have failed. Re-installed m'board drivers & updated. Re-installed 2000 again.Downloaded from Mustek site (hopeless).Have followed scanner CD instructions to a T many times. Still no go. Device Manager says "Drivers for this device aren't installed(code 28) Driver isn't digitally signed. Install wizard comes back and says "a function driver wasn't specified for this device. Hi cageyg. Many scanners must be disconnected from the computer while you install the driver and software. Then plug the scanner in and turn it on to complete the installation. Also make sure any previous scanner driver/software is uninstalled before trying to install it again. If you use photo imaging software such as photoshop, you may have to uninstall it, install your scanner driver, then reinstall the photo imaging software. This is so the photo imaging software can redetect the twain driver for the scanner. OR - You might just have to tell your photo imaging software that the scanner is there.
