I have recently reformatted the hard drive on my Viglen Pentium 2. It has a MS6119 Ver 1.1 BX2 motherboard.
Everyhting seemed to be going well until i tryed to install the modem.
It recognises that a PCI card is there but it cant say its a modem, and wont accpet any of the drivers i have. I then bought a new modem to try outn and i still have the same problem.
i think i might need some more appropriate drivers for the motherboards PCI controllers?
Not sure though, this was just an idea, but i have no idea what i need and where to find it.
Any help much appreciated.

Reply: (edit)PCI modem - what chips on it? any brand names? can't help without know what it is. Also, consider updating your Intel chipset drivers using this link:
