MS-5187 DRIVER CD _ UNABLE TO POST THIS RESPONSE WITH ORGINAL MESSAGE DUE TO TIME LIMITATIONS ON THIS SERVER.

Due to the number of people asking me about this post http://www.computing.net/drivers/wwwboard/forum/2722.html here is the response I got from MSI support. Follow these links and instructions to locate the drivers yourself.

You will need to download and install the following drivers (in this order) -

VIA Chipset 4in1 Drivers
Support model All VIA based chipset mainboard
Description
a. Update Via chipset driver from v1.60b to v1.70
b. Update via AGP driver to v4.303.
c. Fixed Ending program issue under both Win2K and WinXP.
d. Fixed AGP uninstall issue under Win2k.
e. Support KT400 AGP 8X.

VIA 686 Sound Driver
Support model All VIA 686A/686B based chipset mainboards
Description
-Fix DXDIAG of DX8 testing for hardwate accelerator no sound issue.
