swimman.net has a waterproof mp3 player. Unfortunately my computer does not recognize it.It is a new machine with patent pending and is not on any list of approved compatible mp3 players. What would you reccommend? The manual does not give any specs
The SWIMMAN Waterproof Mp3 Player is a standard Mass Storage Device which should be recognized by all Windows and Mac operating systems except Windows 98, which is not supported. Windows 98 SE requires a driver which is sent with new purchases on a CD ready for installation. XP should not have difficulty recognizing the SWIMMAN MP3 Player. Swimman Inc. does have a very good tech support team who will either solve the issues via e-mail or phone. Swimman's warranty stands behind its products in the event of a defective unit, which may be the case with your device.
By the way, several of Swimman's patents have already been issued.
