Comment: I have fitted and installed a modem to aCompaq Desktop 2000. GenuineIntel Pentium(r)Processor.16Mb Windows 98 2nd. Edition.
The modem is Conexant controllerless PCI V90.ByBest Buy. Windows Recognises the modem and the tel line is ok. I get error 630. The modem is not responding prop. Any help please. Ken
