I have a dell dimension 4100 and I've just restored it to factory settings. Only problem is, I can't get the modem to work. My modem is a Conexant HCF V90 56K RTAD Speakerphone PCI Modem. When I do a modem test the results are... registry- not working, modem- good, port- good, dial tone- not working, hardware- good. I Do not have the Windows modem installation disk- which I assume means I don't have the correct drivers. Are the drivers the only problem? Where can I get the drivers?
Summary: I am running windows Me right now. and i am wanting to run xp, but when i install i can't connect, because i need a HSP56 micro modem driver..Can anyone help me out on where to find one ...
