I have brought a new printer but my computer is not recognizing my usb port i think i may be missing some drivers to download my printer

So you're saying that the computer isn't detecting the USB hub(s) and the printer? Or what?

If your other USB devices are working in the same USB ports, then the USB hub(s) is/are working fine, and you need a driver for the printer to work.

If your printer came with a driver CD, give that an install and see if it helps. Otherwise, go to the website of the manufacturer of the printer and get the drivers from there.

And of course, make sure all of the cables are intact and connected firmly. Try other USB ports, as well.
