When I start up ADOBE Photo Deluxe Home Edition 3.1 or EZPhoto 2.7.2.7 (these applications came together on the same CD in a package with a Canon digital camera)/WIN 98-2, I get the following error:
One of the Library files needed to run this application cannot be found.
C:\Projects\LegoType\Driver\debug\Driver.DLL
11000I've searched thru ADOBE Photo Deluxe and STORM EZPhoto support pages and cannot find any references to this error.
Can anyone help me find this file or help explain where it is supposed to come from and what it is used for ?

I had this same problem when an individual tried to install an ICQ program. It came up saying it was missing the driver.dll file. I just copied it from the windows-system directory of another computer that was running windows 98. If you cannot find it on another computer go to http://www.dllsearch.com/ and sign up for a free membership and they will send it to you. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried dllsearch.com and some other sites, but, could not find it. I'll try to find it on some other computer.
The error message includes a directory it expects to find it. I not only don't have the driver.dll file, but, I don't have that directory in my machine, either.
The directory name offers some clues. C:\Projects\LegoType\Driver\debug\Driver.DLL
I don't have any clue about the \Projects directory. But, \LegoType sounds like possibly some kind of font-related thing. Then, \debug seems like it's some kind of sandbox thing that wouldn't normally be released to customers. With Adobe being heavy into fonts and document formatting, this seems to be going in the right direction. I've searched the CD of the application I'm trying to install and the Driver.DLL file is not there, unless it's compressed/hidden. Their installation apparently doesn't install it, which again says it isn't contained on the application CD. But, why would they expect my computer to have this directory with this file in it? It doesn't appear to be part of Windows 98.

Hi friend,i am missing a IDLE.DLL file,if u can help find on search engine,i would greatly appreiate thanks

When I try to open up Adobe Photo Deluxe I get the following message. The shell 32.dll file is linked to missing export: shlwpi.dll:shreg get vsvazue a.
c:/program files/photodeluxehe 3.0/pd3.exe.
Does anybody know how I can go about fixing this?
Thanks
Stephanie

My Adobe 3.1 gives me the following message when I try to print STANDARD SIZES. As soon as I am instructed to select one of the formats in Layout, I get the message "Insert the CD "photodeluxe" into drive E, then click ok. Of course when I insert the CD, it still cannot find a photo. If I ignore this and try to select a photo, I get the message "A template file could not be found". Whats going on????

I'm also having that problem (on Win2K), as well as some people who are discussing it at this (obsolete?) forum:
http://www.driverguide.com/boards/storm-technology/1678.html
Please let me know if/when you find a solution.
Thanks,
Usman
