After fairly extensive research, I've found Microsoft's answers to solving excessive Timeout Detection and Reconver (TDR) messages and (often) crashes to be unhelpful, evasive or sheer bloviation. See: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...
and similar pages on Microsoft websites.
TDRs are identfied when you see messages like, "Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered".
See:http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/gg487368.aspx
Get more than a few in a minute and your system crashes.
Has anyone investigated what changes to the TDR Registry Keys are best for eliminating this issue until Microsoft fixes its broken Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM)?
