Malfunctioned hub when connecting cam/ipod

Hi there! When I connect my camera or Ipod to the hubs on my computer I get a message saying that one of the usb devices connected to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it. The same goes for my camera when trying to download my pics off my camera. I didn't have any software with these devices and have worked fine until now. I own a Ipod Itouch and a sony camera both again not requiring software. I am not very techy and most of the things I read about computers are greek to me but could someone help me in "elementary terms"lol. Thank you SO MUCH in advance! If you would like to walk me through it via yahoo messenger thats an option too. lilybgrace
Summary: I have windows 95 with USB supplement. I enabled USB in set up and used Floppy Disk given by vendor to upgrade to USB. Then I connected Web cam and updated the driver using CD given by Web Cam Vendor....
