My computer lost the OS when my husband tried to load a game to play. Is the hard drive messed up, or can it be fixed? When I power my computer on it will not do anything

... should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu"

... Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode with command prompt" [press ENTER]

... next type:

bcdedit /enum [press ENTER]
