Hi,
I'm trying to use make images of several PC's using Ghost 8 (2003 and an external DVD writer: Sony DRX-510UL.
On a Compaq EVO-510 desktop, the USB drivers that came with Ghost works fine. To use on a Compaq portable Armada E500 I have to load the Panasonic usbaspi.sys. When I use that same driver on a Compaq desktop EXD/P800, the DVD-drive was recognized, but the PC freezes in Ghost when I get the destination-list.... etc...etc...
Isn't there a USB-driver for DOS that works on all (or most) PC's? I can't create 50 bootfloppies, do I?

Help!Similar problem.
would like to back-up my hardisk on USB CD drive with ghost. (Toshiba r100, Windows XP) For the no name portable CDROM drive I tried in config.sys: device=USBASPI.SYS /v device=USBCD.SYS /d:USBCD001 and in AUTOEXEC.BAT: MSCDEX /d:USBCD001 /l:q as proposed by MadMaxUSB.
Usbaspi seems to find one USB2.0 device, which is correct. However, impossible to read the cdrom in q:. Using the PCDOS delivered with Ghost2003.
