Comment: Please help me find a driver for the Motorola PCI SM56 SpeakerPhone Modem running under Linux. The Motorola site no longer have the driver up. I am currently running Linux-Mandrake 8.1. Thanks! Colin

Reply: (edit)Currently running Linux Mandrake 8.2 and my sm56 drivers don't work (they functioned *almost* perfectly under mdk8.0 - couldn't find the dial tone , though ...). Suggestions ? *please send copy of answers to trompus@gmx.net*

Reply: (edit)Well, under Mandrake 8.0 my SM56 worked perfectly fine, but in 8.2 the modem commands aren't detected. Do not know what to do neither. Maybe I'll try some kernel reconfiguration. Tomaz
