the Long Q I am have a problem with windows not detecting the onboard audio of the k8n asus motherboard. I have soundman(the default sound manager) installed and working with sound, but the control panel [sounds and audio devices] does not detect the audio device to allow other programs to use it. as far as i can tell its a realtek ac 97 onboard sound( but there is an error every time i try to run the realtek driver setup program that i downloaded from asus.)will post error message when requested. Side note: I can manually set winamp and soundman sound settings and it plays sounds with no problem.So the onboard
