Hi all,

I just started writing kernel mode drivers, and started with the
simplest one. I have written one for the parallel port, to be able to
read to it, write to it and handle interrupts. I believe I have fairly
stable code since it has not crashed my system as yet (Win 2k - SP2).
I am using the Driver monitor that comes along with Cant's "Writing
WDM..." to get debug messages out.

The problem is I can read to it and write to it, however I cannot seem
to send in interrupts. I have done the usual stuff like setting the
parport entry in the registry to 3 and setting my driver's registry
entry to 2. The driver loads up, initializes and everything, it just
does not handle interrupts. I even tried this with code that came
along with the Cant book - "PHDIo.dsw", and I still get the same
thing: the driver works fine but the interrupts dont get through.

Is there something I missed that the minions of the Evil Empire put in
and did not document regarding the DDK or somr other trick to make it
work. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
AM
