Installing Video Drivers

I have an old Compaq Presario 1010 laptop. I recently reformatted the hard drive and believe I lost the video drivers. My display setting only allow 16 color setting. I have tried to download and install the video drivers from the Compaq website, but keep getting a file error. Does anyone know where I can these drivers and install them correctly?
