Hi
I am trying to re-install my all in one Epson SX100 printer. However i am having a problem installing the software for the printer. When i run the installation disk it installs the driver for the scanner but won't install the printer driver off the disk. It is saying driver found but there is an error in the file. so i got the driver off the epson website and installed it separately. The printer now appears but it won't print. I contacted Epson and their saying its on the wrong port (LPT1 printer port) which is the port i chose when i installed the printer driver separately. Epson are saying it should be on USB Virtual Port which is NOT in the list of ports i have so they told me the ports may have been uninstalled or require updates. I'm confused can anyone help???? I'm running Windows Vista

Also when i put the printer usb cable in my computer its keeps on saying new hardware found install drivers.

Thanks

Remove all drivers, reboot, plug in printer USB cable and if connected to internet Vista will search for drivers automatically........

How do i remove all the printer drivers??

When i plug the USB cable into my computer its says new hardware found install drivers so i install them but for the printer to work i have to install the software off the software disk.

However when i try to install the software it starts to install the printer driver off the disk and asks me to plug the USB cable into my computer.

I do this but after like 2 minutes it says connection cannot be established /or recognised. What should i do?
