hello to whom it may concern,i have an old ibm
thinkpad 600e 2645 4bu 397 mhz 288mb ram intel
pentium II running windiows xp profess. i had bought
the used laptop not too longs ago and all the sudden
when i turn on my laptop it made this weird farting
sound when it started to boot up to main screen but
actually it didn't just frozed there won't start up can
you tell me whats going on with my laptop thnx.

... guessing that you are running it off the mains?

... take the battery out and unhook the mains then reconnect

... remove any CD's from cdrom

... try again, does it also make a clicking sound?
