i have been trying to find and install a driver for a stupid thompson rca dcm245 cable modem. i insert the cd and it doesnt install any drivers. i run it through a usb connection and the pc detects the modem but cannot find a driver for it on the cd or the internet. i've tried installing winxp and when i hook the modem up, it automatically detects and installs a drive for the stupid thing only except that xp slows down my computer so i uninstalled it. i need help!
