I have heard that the only real issue with PCI over AGP is memorie. PCI will use memorie from windows while AGP uses its own on card memorie. ie. 32MB Nvidia GeForce. I have had PCI graphics cards and now have AGP but as far as screen resolution depending on the card you get there may not be that much of a differnce.

My system came with intergrated graphics i810. When I decided to upgrade I then found out my motherboard had no AGP slot:-( . AGP is faster and the way to go if you have a choice ,howeverI found my ATI RADEON 32MB to make great improvement to my graphics and the over all performance of my system. Its much better than the intergrated graphics. You can find PCI Graphic cards with 64MB DDR now. At the time I purchased my card they where not out yet ! Good Luck,Nick
