Need drivers for HP Pavilion 8480z, using the Asus P2B-VE (part#D7310a ?)motherboard. No mention of this board on the Asus site. I need the following;
1)PCI Input Device
2)PCI Simple Communications Device
3)The Multimedia Audio Controller, I believe, uses the AMC97 codec in W98 (upgraded to W2k recently), should be able to find the W2k version someplace.
The HP site only had the driver for he Riptide Modem. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Go to the HP site, strangely located at www.hp.com and you will be able to access the drivers for that particular machine and the operating system you use. Lot's of other great info there as well. Enjoy. Those drivers will work better than anything else you can find.

You can avoid many of these Windows problems with Linux. Linspire eases the transition for new users
