i have and hp dv2500 laptop, my hardrive was damaged so i installed a new 2.5 sata hardrive. i didn't back up any of my data, but i had a recovery dvd that i ordered from hp. after i installed the hardrive, i put in the recovery dvd, but something went wrong and i didnt install my operating system correctly because it keeps shutting down when ever windows starts up.
