I've been having trouble with my recently installed audio driver. I'm thinking I may have downloaded the wrong one. Before, I used a Crystal SoundFusion, and I downloaded the same thing but newer, and now it doesn'twork. I have Win98 se so if you have any ideas, it would really be appreciated. Thanks!

Go to Device Manager and uninstall the newer device driver.
Then let Windows try to reinstall the old diver:
Double-click on Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Hardware. The Add/Remove Hardware Wizard will try to detect the sound card and install the appropiate (old) driver. If this fails, repeat this last step, but use the "Have Disk..." option when it shows up. Insert the disk (if you have it), that contains the old driver.
If you still want to upgrade the driver, make sure that you download the driver version that exactly matches the sound card model that your computer has. If this is the same than you downloaded before, you are stuck with the old driver until the manufacturer releases a newer one.
Good luck!
