ok, i ran that program called DIET K. While it opened for the first time, my computer just shut down all by itself. After it restarted itself, i noticed that my internet didnt work anymore. I have a cable internet connection by the way. So i called the tech support, and they said i erased my drivers and should go buy a new network card.i was like wtf?/??? so i did. but it didnt work. SO obviously, it has to do with something with my windows drivers. I have no idea where to start. im here in a computer lab trying to do research. Nobody else seemed to have this problem. Ive done all the add new hardware crap possible. I just dont know what else to do. can someone help me? PLEASE???????????? thank you erbody. i run windows ME by the way.

Hi, Open your machine up. Get the name of the card and the model number( on the biggest chip! usually) Then download the drivers and install them. That should fix your problem. daisymay
