Please help.

How do I install a cd driver in dos or onto my win 98 start-up disc?

My cd won't work with the w98 generic drivers.

I am getting desperate As I have to give this computer back on Sunday.

Hi Skycabbie.

Go to this site and make a Win98 bootup disk which includes a universal CD driver.

http://www.bootdisk.com/original.htm

After you get booted up then install your Windows software, and from there you can install the CD drivers for your CD Drive.

If the above boot disk doesn't have a DOS mouse driver, go to this page about halfway down - I Want a Mouse In DOS

http://www.bootdisk.com/readme.htm#mouse

Take care,

Linda
