I got win 98se and i´ve downloaded a driver for my micromodem (HSP56MicroModem). Everything goes fine, until i tried to choose the comunication port. It only appears com1 and parallel port to chose, when i need the com4 to setup correctly my modem.
Please help me out people!!!

I had the same issues when i downgraded to Win2k from XP. XP picked up modem in PCI 3, but Win2k wouldnt.

To be honest it may just be easier to move your modem then re-install driver. This will resolve issue. If you cant move the modem {not enough slots/free slots} then I would suggest... ermm... let me think... ahhh... 98 u said... well... u could upgrade to xp... or you could hmmm... dunno, wait for someone else with 98 experience. all mines on nt/win2k.
