I just had a second 60G hard installed and would like to transfer some files from my main hardrive to the secondary one and I would like to format(or erase) the 1st drive completely (if thats possible). Could anyone tell me how to do this? Thanks in advance.

Winter, first of all you are better off posting this in the General Hardware forum for knowledgeable folks to answer.
Second, are you adding the 60Gig as the only harddrive, the slave, master, what? Do you want a dual-boot setup, or simple storage as a second drive?? Each one of these involves different steps.
