the partition table on my 20Gb hard drive became corrupt. I had 2 partitions [1 primary and one extension, the extension with 2 logical drives. c: 101Mb (Fat32) d: 4001Mb (NTFS) e: 15???Mb (NTFS) i attempted to use the 'DiskPart' utility on the Windows XP Professional CD to remove (delete) Drive d:. When i did, it took several minutes, then told me that the drive could not be deleted, The PC then BlueScreened and i was unable to access my harddrive thereafter. Is there anything that can be done to repair / fix this situation? I cannot boot, period. I have to tell my BIOS that i have No Hard drive to boot from a Boot disk, but i can do nothing to the hard drive b/c the computer cannot find it, how can i access the motherboard after boot if i tell the bios that it doesn't exsist? if there are drivers for the hard drive, where would i go to find it and how would i install it from DOS? HD: Toshiba 2.5", 20 Gb HD (Laptop) MK2016GAP HDD2154 C ZE01 T Any help is appreciated Thanks in advance, Joe

You Shouldn't need a driver for the hard disk. I used partition magic 8 and booted from cd. You may need to format everything and start from scratch. I had a problem which was like that windows had set the hard drive to be DYNAMIC so i had to go into dos using windows 98 startup disk and use fixdisk to get rid of all partitions then boot from cd to startup partition magic 8 it took over 5 hours to get my 120gig hard drive up and running and that is without installing any OS. I hope This Is Of Some Help All The Best. If You Get Stuck Don't Hesitate To Drop Me A Line Allright
Summary: Well, you should have posted this in the Support Forums not the drivers forums but anyways: If your disk has no data on it (or you are willing to LOSE ALL OF THE DATA) then you can boot from a diskett...
Summary: I had a trojan which I used system restore and am showing no evidence of it. I also had winampfor the last 2 months, which heard there was a problem. When I go to use winamp it says, no sound device f...
